I have a 91 GTI with the same engine as that car: VR6 Turbo.

Allthough i am sure my car isn't in as raced out tune as the Red car is, i still pull 118mph trap speeds in the 1/4mile. (Don't ask me my ET's... peg leg FWD = no traction, not to mention my lack of launching skills)

It has been my daily driver for 2 years now. In street trim, on pump gas at 9lbs of boost, the car made 298hp to the front wheels. This is on a completely stock engine w/ stock compression.

It is a real handful to drive under boost, but when driving like a normal person, you would never know.

It is a lot of fun to spank some unsuspecting Americain muscle cars out there not to mention the odd Porsche owner.
