Default shorten driveshaft

Does anybody know of a company in or near illinois that can shorten a stock drive shaft?

Check with your local heavy truck shops. They can either do it or tell you where it can be done locally.

There's a place in St. Charles. http://www.mdsdriveshaft.com/

They were the only ones locally that could handle the aluminum shaft I have. I don't know where 'locally' is for you
