Hello everyone. I just joined and I must say, this is a very cool forum. I am currently building a GT40 replica complete with an aluminum monocoque chassis and Gulf style body. The engine is a 331 SBF with aluminum heads and 48IDA Webers. Tires are AVON historic racing slicks - 9" in front and 15" in the rear.

I look forward to (hopefully) providing any help and also getting help with questions I might have.

Cheers
Bill

Hi Bill, sounds like a killer project. I'd love to see pictures of it.

Welcome aboard.

sweet car, absolutely love the original GT40, and in GULF colors.. im nor sure its fair you have one when i dont but just a forewarning, on this site you are sure that somone is going to suggest a twinturbo LSX engine sooner rather than later...

love it.. and keep the pics comming, especially of the details please

Here is my first car...a replica of a 1965 Shelby 427 SC Cobra. It has a 503 ci BBF that made 645 HP on the dyno. This car was scary fast. I sold it to build a GT40.
