Talking New to site and really enjoying it!

Hello everybody, what a great site! I have been reading the postings and encouragement you all give and that makes this site awesome. Oh yea, some really sick rides too! lol
My name is Rusty and I have a few projects sitting around (who doesn't on this site). One that is under way now is a 67 Camaro, true RS car and what a rush I got tonight. I just had to share it with you all. Scott Mock at Chubby's Welding & Fabrications just north of Baldwin City, Kansas called me to tell me the subframe he custom built was finished and had all my new parts on it. I knew Chubby could do some really neat stuff but what an awesome fabricator he is! I had purchased all new Heidt tubular upper and lower a-arms, Heidt heavy duty stabilizer and Fatman rack-n-pinion. This stuff just bolted right on to Chubby's custom subframe. What a fantastic unit and didn't cost me near what others wanted. Now I can't wait to see it under the car. But before that happens a lot of other stuff must take place.
We put the shell of the Camaro on my rotissary this past week and on Monday, 4-16, I take it to get media blasted. From there it goes back to Chubby's to get new Goodmark qtrs, mini tubs, rear tail light pannel and some firewall smoothing. New Goodmark doors, fenders, cowl hood, bumpers, everything it takes to build it new is waiting to go on. Then the paint will be laid by Brian Kellison at Kellison's Customs in Lawrence, Kansas. It will stay white with black vinyl top. I have a Heidt 4 Link and QA1 coil overs for the rear and Lt1 with 6 speed to power this cruiser. I think I am going with Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dog wheels. Don't have them yet and open to suggestions. Man I've been rambling a long time. Thanks for letting me join and I will post a few pics. I have a few pics of the 68 Camaro Chubby is building for himself. What a bad ride it is! I can't say enough about Chubby's Fabrication skills! QUALITY and trick stuff. Check out the Gas Filler on his 68. It is a Cobra style lid mounted on top the drivers rear qtr. I'm telling you this guy is wicked good! Tell me what you think.

Hi Rusty, welcome aboard. Sounds like some nice projects.

As for attaching images, I have the size limit set to no more than 1025x768 and 160kb. If you pictures are too big, e-mail them to me and I can resize them for you.
