Default June 07 Feature: Tom Lee's 68 Camaro

This month's Feature Car is Tom Lee's bitchin 68 Camaro. Not only is it a super clean and bad ass ride, it's been the project of a long time member of our community. Seeing Tom's project go from concept to reality while being a regular member is really cool. You should be damn proud, Tom. It's a killer car.

Great Job, Tom... judging by the pics, you're one of those rare breed of people who can build an amazing car in a small garage. Congrats to you on the car, and for having the patience and fortitude to hang in there in tight quarters. Nice work!

Thanks Scott for such a great site, Steve for all your work to get the car into print, Jake for all the support on my paint/body issues, Jeff and Jim at Classic Chevy 5 Speed, Kyle and everyone over at DS&E, Frank at Prodigy and Pascual at Marquez for great products, and everyone who takes the time to read and post here for your comments, support, inspiration, and humor. Sorry if I forgot anyone but I really do appreciate everyone who is a part of this community!

The car looks great and I like that you kept your kids in mind when building your car.. I love the black and silver/brushed aluminum theme that is present everywhere. Your trunk is one of the nicest I have scene without being over the top and unusable.

Tom,

You finished your car right around the same time I finished mine. As I was building my car doing the mini tubs and various sheet metal work, I found myself frequently visiting camarorestoration.com. Just want to say thanks for a great build up site. And your car came out gorgeous! Nice job! Its pretty cool when people at shows approach you and ask "what shop built the car" and you reply Its called home, a single car garage, a welder, a few air tools and wrenches .

Congrats on the feature much deserved - Rich
