Couple things i've figured out with Ride Height. Once you get the rear tire where you want it and it looks good. The front becomes a bigger problem. With a 26" tall tire up front there isn't much room for suspension travel as the tire hits the inner fender.

If you look at the formula Rad Rides is building they have the car set at 4" ride height and the inside of the fender ( no inner fender ) from memory was only 29" from the ground.

2nd gens are very challenging to get sitting low and fit the tires under. I have done several with modified stock suspensions and have finally got a combo that works pretty good with some compromises. The tires/wheels aren't the only hurdle, the exhaust clearance is another problem.
