ok, this is a customer's car that I have helped with for the last year. Not sure what it cost to build.. i do have a rough estimate, but I am not going to disclose that. I had mentioned this car on here before but was unable to get any of the build pics. I will try to get more this weekend. I like the car myself, but would prefer it in a coupe. We also have a 63 body and tube chassis for a shop in Dallas I believe. That one has an LS7 and TKO 600. The car was a lot of fun to work on but just as much a PIA. I know the owner started with totaled out Electron blue Z06 and a running/driving 63 vette and the tube chassis.... Kinda cool to see it all come together and actually have a small hand in it.

BTW, the owner has a C6 Z06 along with a dozer or so other vettes of all models, along with a 67 SS396 chevelle, 69Z28 that we are detailing now, Ford GT, and various other cool cars.

I love that chassis shot. Too bad most won't be able to see it.

Yeah, the chassis looks great in person.. Everything is as detailed as it can get. The interior turned out very nice also. The seats had to be narrowed one inch and cut down ten inches if I am not mistaken. Uphostery was done by Paul Atkins.

I know you probably can't tell from the chassis shot, but all the factory aluminum pieces of the Z06 suspension were polished. It has Koni Coil-overs and custom swaybars. We ended up changing the mufflers out when the car was finished, it was a bit too loud and was putting off quite a bit of heat.

Tons of hours went into making everything operate and fit.

We have more project pics on the computer at the shop.. I will try to get up there next week and get them posted. Not very many pics of the uphostery in progress since it wasn't done here. I know we have pics of the bare floor with the seats being mocked up and the dash trimmed and set in place.

If you are planning to build a Vette; I highly recommend this shop, and not just because I work there. I was absolutely amazed at the attention to detail with this project and every other project we do.
