That's just not true! If you go off the posts on this message board(and others) everyone on here's building Riddler cars, when in reality, VERY few of them are "top quality cars". Lots of "Message Board Heroes" are in fact the laughing stock of the real world. Fesler was set up from the beginning. He posted pictures of his car and stated he was going for SMOY. He should have been told from the very beginning that neither of his cars are SMOY quality. Instead most people told him how awesome they were and acted like he could actually win, thus his ego and expectations grew as fast as the replies to his thread. I'm not saying he doesn't have a nice car, the paint is some of the best I've seen on a muscle car, but do you actually think this car is a SMOY contender given the past winners( Troy's Chicane, Ring's Mustang, Johnson's Cuda)? Even the most novice of members here should be able to see the difference. I'm not saying that we should nit pick and bash every builder that posts pics of a project on here but when it's obvious they are taking a knife to a gun fight, they should be told so.

Amen to that.
After listening to this blow-hard run his mouth, especially lately on the message boards, it's good to see someone finally call him out on it. Listening to Fessler speak poorly of others' work and in general was a treat this past weekend. Loud, rude, and ready to cut someone down at the first chance. Learn some respect, son, as word gets around fast.

Who said anyone was building Riddler cars? I think you're making a huge jump with your assumption there. I do believe that most of the professional shops that are members here or lurk here can turn out exceptional product. It ultimately boils down to the customer, how far he/she wants to go with it and how deep their pockets are.
Your little speach makes it sound like if someone enjoys being a part of an online community, they cannot build a car. The irony of that statement is that 3 of the top 5 cars up for the SMOY are cars built and/or owned by regular members here (Ring Brothers, Notorious from Troy, and Hanson).
I didn't realize 3 of the top 5 cars up for SMOY were the laughing stock of the "real world".
