Its just a test fit for now. Sending it out for powder coating. I'm thinking black or possibly even color matching it, will see after showing some friends.

Looks good Dane, fits the theme of the car. True street fighter looks and Im bias to the color. My first camaro 27yrs ago was the same color although it was a bondo bucket 307 that had more stickers on it than you could imagine. Problem was I had none of those parts I was advertising.
Great track car, keep it coming!

Yep...I like the idea of playing with some colors on it as well.

I'm your #e=mc^2 fan, I love your Camaro, everything about it, I want to build a Camaro like yours, all about function, I really like the way it looks, and I want to know if you have any building process pictures.

I'm not sure what I like about the color, it could be best described as baby vomit yellow. I think the fact that the color is so rare is what attracted me to the car in the first place. It seems like every camaro on the planet is red, silver, black, yellow or blue.

Funny you mention the stickers, when I purchased the car, I attempted to remove them and quickly found out that the paint came off with the stickers. Needless to say, they're there to stay until I decide to paint the car or Vinyl Wrap it. There is NO WAY I would be pushing the limits of the car and my driving if I had a 10k paint job, and thats considered a cheap paint job!

For now, the ugly gold fits the theme of the car. Its purpose built for driving, reliability, and to have fun!

Going to be dropping it off at the powder coater's shop next week. Base will be gold if I can get it to match, the lip will be black, and all the hardware/screws will be left aluminum. If the hardware is too 'bling' I will have it all powder coated as well. I want the wing to not be the focal point of the car. Its not for looks. I may have to photoshop it to see what looks best.
