I am also of the "less is more" school of thought.

I think it would be hard to screw things up this bad. There is nothing correct about how the modification were added.

The fenders that I have seen done that use the leading edges of the wheel wells to, 'Tastefully", blend the flair into the fender look terrific. Jake had a picture of some of his on here that, FIT, the car. "This Baldwin Abortion", 1969 Camaro, has always made my eyes hurt to look at it. Plus, unlike the earlier ones they put out, this is something that wasn't even really designed to run on the street.

A Trailer Queen Show Car Only, at best. As long as it is in very low light, like blackness.

Ugh!

Ty

I think making a cube out of it would do the PT Community a Service.

^^^^^^^^^ that is just offensive....

I'm speaking of Mr Vengence post as well as that nasty Baldwin Abortion.

You know why Baldwin cars are "rare"? Because nobody wanted them then either... LOL

I realize we are going off-topic....Greg it's two different things entirely...The most recent "Motion" Camaros are (were?) an attempt by an aging Rosen to capitalize on the Baldwin/Motion name...the most recent cars (I have only seen two at Sema) are indeed (my opinion) quite grotesque.

But, to say "no one wanted them then, either"...eh...

Like Yenko, Nickey, The Baldwin dealership cars that went through Motion were certainly desirable back in the day, there were enough people (typically well-off folks buying them for themselves, or for their spoiled kids) to buy these cars. I grew up on Long Island (Port Washington) and my family used to deal with Baldwin and Rosen, He certainly didn't seem to have a problem bringing in money from selling modified cars.

There were many Motion cars built without all the visual stuff that people associate/identify with Motion (stinger hoods, wild stripes, etc). Plenty of folks got 427 conversions done and that's all. Many Motion cars have been lost to time and later modifications.

He did have a mixed reputation, people either loved him or hated him. Those guys built a lot of other wild stuff that many people never hear about.
