Default Pics Update

Here are the pics with the new floor pan installed. I started here so I could practice my welding skills after learning on some scraps. The toe box area and the trunk pans were able to be saved.

With the rear end and gas tank removed, I used stripper in a tank sprayer then a pressure washer to knock most of the crud off. I went back with 60 grit sanding disc to knock of the rest. This was a little tough but worked in the absence of a rotesserie. The tank sprayer was toast when I was done!

Thats a nice list of part you have there. It should be a fun car. You already made some nice progress. Keep it up.

Default Project 69 SS LS6 Update

Here are some shots of the Heidt's 4 link installed along with the 12 bolt posi. The kit installs easy enough. Just have to pay attention to the pictures in the instructions.

Since I was able to get the car turned in the garage I knocked a bit of work over the last few weeks. I rebuilt the suspension and added tubular A arms along with Hotchkiss 2 inch drop springs.

The real accomplishment was getting the T56 married up to the LS6 Crate engine. The Hurst Driveline package is very inclusive and goes together smooth. The only hitch is the installation of the crossmember. Some better pics and instructions there would have been nice. I went with a Center Force clutch set up.

I started the install on the Vintage Air front runner system and Vinatage Air AC. I have a few things to finish up with it.

I suck at body work so I opted for the easy way and added a smooth aluminum plate to the firewall.
