Blake
Is the upper arm the only one modified for more clearance, or is the lower arm different also? Is the lower arm only made for a coilover, or do you have a version for a regular spring?

James
Are you still running the Pozzi modified steering arms on the OLC? I was looking for the old post where you showed what was done, I found it but all the pictures are gone. Any chance you could link them again?

Yeah - we've still got the modified steering arms on the car with seemingly no issues to date. When we got back from one event last year (I think it was the UFO weekend at Reno-Fernely immortilized by Mary in this months issue of CP) some of the alignment specs seemed a bit out and we questioned whether we were putting too much stress on them at full lock against the steering stops but they appear to be fine. We'll probably mag them when we change over to the new spindles with ZR1 hubs just to be sure.

I'll see about restoring the pics - I have them, they just got shuffled when the directories changed after the last website update.

I am also using the high clearance arms with a stock subframe (and L&H Kustoms tall spindles). The subframe just needs a little clearance grinding on the UCA mount. I don't think I could run the 275s up front with out these arms.

I think the difference in sway bar mounting methods (and possibly some other things) makes the LCAs NOT interchangeable between stock and the SpeedTech subframes.

no the lower as well as the sway bar are also modified to give maximum clearance. the lower will only accept a coil over, we moved the coil lower mount outboard as far as possible to help with the motoin ratio also, gives the better better control.

The fact that there is no Droop/ bend in the arm and no upper bump stop means that there is a "Small Chance" the arm could come in contact with the frame when using a STOCK HEIGHT spindle under full extention.
Not to worry because we will not sell them unles you are also buying the TALL SPINDLE or the sub frame. Sorry.

Add me to the list of proud owners of the Speed Tech front sub with ATS tall spindles!
I have driven two Camaros with this setup and their rear suspension as well and totally loved the ride, handling, install and stance! And then there's the customer service...top notch!!

I've got the speedtech sub. It's a nice piece. So it weighs 125 pounds, what does a stock sub weigh? Getting ready to install the old style sbc with a tko and a scatter shield. Will the manual linkage work or would a hydraulic clutch be prefered?

if you told us you were using the manual linkage when you ordered it then you would have received the Z bar bracket that attaches to the sub. if you need one let me know and we can send one to you No Charge, just shipping.

so either will work.
