The advise I got from a restoration guru was to drill out the spot welds along the offending areas then push the sheet metal or hood frame up or down until the curvature matches. The method worked really well for me and was much easier then trying to bend and twist the whole hood. Maybe this will help someone else before he grabs the 4-lb hammer.

The edge off the hood on the Camaro comes down at a 90 and is spot welded to the inner structure where the Nova hood is rolled back under as a door skin is to the inner frame, it would have to be completely removed from the inner support !Hope you understand my lingo ??
