Planning stages - what's that? You must mean where I was going to spend a weekend getting this driver on the road LOL!

But absolutely. Too many examples of that during this build - my bad and we correct as we go. Almost want to do it over just to see how it CAN be done LOL. But it's all good and we're getting closer.

Can't wait to see your car in person - looks great!

Default Car looks great with the new wheels and I love the

stance. Most companies running coil overs are using a 5 inch stroke shock. That should give 2.5 compression and droop or 3/2...which is not much. Not sure I would want to go any shorter on the shock just from a bottoming/ride standpoint. Most are running between 250-275 rear spring. If you are going for ride comfort the 200 should be great, but I bet you will have a bottoming problem.

With all that being said....damn you car looks good!

My choice would be to modify the brackets/trunk floor so that I don't lose shock travel. Not sure yet. I'm working on the engine build for now. I may just see where the car ends up after it's finished and then go from there. It's too early for me to tell because I have no weight in my car. It's still a shell.

I know on my Gbar setup there are several holes at the axle to lower the shock mounting. So you dont loose the overal length of 13-14" when lowering it more.

Do you not have this option? Or is it at the lowest setting? I know Im on the middle setting and my quarters sit right at my rims.

I know it's been a while, but a local photographer took a nice shot of my car clean this past weekend. I may get him to do a shoot of my car now.
