How does the upper mount on the coilover attach? It appears to be to a crossmember but I don't see it in the photo of the dismantled parts. Can you elaborate on this?

yes it is a weld in cross member, good spot, it is not in the picture.
it is the same as the first gen camaro , just a dirrerent shape. simple part to install there is about 6" of welding on each side directly to the frame rail. it actually mounts to the bottom and inside of the factory frame rail.




you can see the angle parts on the end that is what gets welded to the frame rails.

Can you show a picture from the side of the car? How much does this hang below the Subframe?

here are a couple pics kinda hard to see but the rear is at full droop




as you can see it actually is higher in the car than the sub frame.
