Default mini tub diff width

I have done a search and not found any info on narrowing a diff.. what id like to know is there a width that is used over and over with the dse mini tub? Im installing a ridetech g bar with the dse mini tubs..
Can i get some specs on what your diff measures and possibly what backspace you were able to run.

is the diff measured flange to flange? (12 bolt moser) or from the end of the axle flange?

thanx, Gav

Depends on the brakes you will run but I like to run 56.5 that will put your 12" rim right at a 5.5 back space. Gives a nice looking dish.

Gav --- Call SpeedTech and ask. They've done a bunch of these and should have a pretty good idea of what will work.

Remember they're now in Utah!

Gav I think most guys run 54"-55" wide. I would cut out the tubs, mock of the wheels (IE how far out you want them to sit) and then measure.

Ryan , i thought you would narrow the diff and then order rims to suit with the right backspace? also is that measurement from the diff flange to flange or wheel mounting pad ?
Im confused on how to go about this,, what comes first the chicken or the egg?
