My only advise I would give, is to take that soft locker out before you install it, there is NOTHING soft about it. Its action was so violent in the turns when it engaged and disengaged that it upset the car. A few times when I was on the ragged edge it started to spin the car. Just my experience, and I was running street tires, replaced it with a Waveloc which worked great. Sucked, had to resaftey wire all those ARP bolts.

I can show how to fix those tire clearance issues, it only requires sawzall and a welder. LOL

I have plenty of experience with safety wire pliers. I even got a new set last year.

I bought a set of Ron Sutton's 40lb springs. I'll give the locker a try as is and then probably swap in Rons no so secret ingiedient to obtain the desired results.

I know I can count on you for extreme body mods executed in a Shinoda style so I'll keep that in mind

Well I had to make sure the apple pie was safe in the storage container so the rotted box was the only spot left. I think there was more danger of DG and I falling through the floorboards

You're lucky you have straight panel on those qtr's and not a small flare to hang things up. What's going to be your next car...a Toyota, Nissan or Honda?????

It is tight no doubt. I am looking to maximize the stuffed look. Remember that picture is two things.

1. Showing the tire at its widest point with the axle tipped at the most extreme angle bringing the top of the tire out twords th quarter.

While we know that we're not supposed to be back on throttle until we are "straight"... Another guy we all know -- Danny Popp -- has a funny motto -- "never straight - but always forward". BOTH of these guys are about as fast as a guy can get. Completely different driving styles.

Funny the little things you learn when hanging out at the right places. The Mustang has a locker -- and I never knew about the "pushing straight".... now that I know -- I can either make it work for me -- or at least understand what is going on and become more patient coming out of a turn.

345s in the rear and a NASCAR locker this car should push through a turn like the delta wing. I might as well make it a three wheeler

That trip was enlightening. You also learned about tires, generators, GVWR, energy levels and how many hours actually exist in a week to get stuff done
