Thanks gents.

I think they may look too big... won't know until I can sit it all the way down.

These may end up on my Z06, with the Z06/7 rims and tires going on this.

Looking good, JJ. I love the 5th Gen Camaro IRS in this car and the wide body in the rear. This is a cool car that is finally turning out well now that it has the proper supervision.

I'm excited to see what is next.

I'm a little biased but I'd say this is the one!

So I am still noodling on this, which means no forward progress.

As you can see, the 21" rims and 375 series tires fit. Thing is, I have 1.5" of up travel the way they fit now. I'd really like a lower ride height with them, even with the 1.5" of travel.

Perhaps I should ask, what is a reasonable up travel amount for racing/street riding for ice cream with the kids? Most cars I've built, I shoot for 2.5". I think I can squeak out 2" with this.

I read somewhere (but can't find it) about how to mod the stock outer wheel tubs for more up travel.

Or I can I go with an 18" rim and run BFG's.

I'd have to buy 4 rims and tires. That gives me 2.5" up.

Or I could go with Z06 rear rims all around...

I have two 20x12's and two tires... I also have the front 19x11" and tires.

Again, 2.5" up.

Or I could do 19x12" rims from the rear of a 2012 C6 Grand Concourse.

I have 4 of those, just need tires.

again, 2.5" up.

Gives me a 26.5" diameter tire on a 12" wide rim

In which case, I am being lazy... but they're probably a better tire than the Pirelli Nero's I own on the 21 and 20" Forgelines that coould go on my Z06 or other projects.

I haven't even started to really think about the front, most say an 11" wide rim, which matches the front 2015 Z06 rims I own.

Thoughts?

So, in other news, Ron Sutton will be helping with this build via specifications.

I think that answers some of the questions above.

With Ron on board you'll get everything worked out and this thing running like a serious beastie. Good luck!
