The grey car on eBay was just purchased about 3 weeks ago, I was amazed when it showed up again! It would seem that he purchased the car (which came with the original engine), had it rebuilt and put it together very quickly. I was emailing with the previous owner when someone used the buy-it-now to pick it up.

He's gonna make some $ on the car, assuming it actually sells...

Original auction

I like that wheel / color combo!

Oh yeah Scott - like the title of this post says...

Ben - I'm with you - you know what made that black T/A looks so sweet - that smoothed in rear spoiler makes that car. The wheels/tires and stance also contribute a lot to the overall look. I liked the satin black shaker too.

If I were to do an F-Body my first 3 choices would be...

1 - 1970-1973 Camaro
2 - 1967-1968 Firebird
3 - 1970-1973 Formula

I kinda prefer the mid-70's cars. The one's nobody likes. Like my '77. Yup. I'll stick with them.

I too started off with a few late model 2nd gens. My favorite is a 78', that was the first year GM got rid of the big metal bumpers and went to the "plastic" nose and tail piece but they still had the nice wrap around gauge cluster. In 79 they went to the flat gauge panel.

Yeah, see, I actually LIKE the big aluminum bumpers. And I just like with my girlfriend liking me, I have no idea why.

I blame my dad for not being a dyed in the wool Chevy guy. I tried to twice. I then ended up with a couple fox bodies right after i got out of high school and the damage was done - I became one of those "5.0 guys". Twice I tried to buy a 2nd gen Camaro but at the time my dad didn't want me driving a V8 Camaro right after I got my license. So today he's always bustin my chops "when ya gonna sell that Ford and buy a Chevy"...oh well. I'll get an f-body someday - but I'll still keep my 85 notch!
