Just an FYI, I added a video of the Shrifter in action on www.TwistMachine.com.

It's linked on 3 separate pages, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Thank you. The Shrifter video is back up on our website (home page and gallery). If you're ever having doubts, just watch it. Tap a paddle and get pushed back in your seat. What could be cooler than that? It's a quicktime file, so if you have difficulty downloading it, email me for a .wmv.

Stuart,
100 degrees is fine by me. 46 degrees here now.

I have a plasma cutter and a welder to fix that problem.

Finally got a copy of July Street Rodder. The press release is pretty funny. They re-wrote the release such that they will be UPshifting into a turn. Hmm... Very good otherwise. Free press is a good thing.
And that Lexus/32 is awesome. Look close at the floor shifter and you will see that is has factory Lexus manumatic. They track tested the car. Performance is pretty good considering the old-school rubber, soft springs and "straight up" front suspension geometry. Note the feature cars in that issue are mostly 4L60E/4L80E equipped. Another hmm...
