I would think you are close to being broke! Sooner or later it's got to happen. Too many cars.... That or the wife is going to kill you. Either way not much time left.
Leave what you have in it. I do hope you are going to enhance the car with a new set of rims though.

454 SB is a good option...as is an aluminum BB.
The main question, as was asked, what are your intentions?

572 HP 505 TQ from my carbed Wegner Motorsports LS2 complete with slick CNC'd accessory drive and valve covers, PS pump, alternator and compressor.
Runs like the 12.5:1 LS7 big block I took out but without the weight.

I'm lucky, my wife loves cars too, I just my have to get her to get a job to support my habit!
I understand what you guys are saying about a SB2 motor, but I have a few high tech cars and want this car to another old school ride. I learned how to autocross in a '76 T/A in highschool. I want to make this car handle and I'm leaning towards a hot small block, maybe 427..
