I have 5 first gens here and all have custom firewalls, all a bit different, the template is the same for each, we just hand fabricate (bead roll) each one to the style the owner wants.

Great work Jake.

Anytime you get the urge to post pics of those other cars you've got there...

Looks awesome. I really like the core support and closeout with the dimple die treatment.

LOL funny you should mention the dimple dies... That was all me!!! Thats one of the few things I did that I didnt screw up and then have to be replaced.

Thanks for the kind words guys, It means a great deal, considering I was ready to go buy a vette and be done with it. I realize it is not very far along but I am moving forward and thats a big step considering.

And like I have said before Jakes Rod Shop should be considered for all aspects of your potential build, and not just an awesome suspension system. They do great work on the entire car. Jake and his crew are really talented when it comes to sheetmetal and tin work. I cant even begin to tell you about the other projects going on in his shop, (mainly because I swore an oath of secrecy) but one other car he is working on there will absolutely blow your mind. I walked around it daily and it never failed that I would spot something different, unique, and cool!

Default update

Guys, heres an update I have been meaning to post. We finished up jays metal fab for the most part, roughed in a few area in body work and ep primed it. It is really taking shape to be a badd ass car. Jay is trying to figure out his motor selection and tranny so this monster can be finished. Its has as good of a stance as I have ever seen on a camaro. Anyway here are some updates to his build and a link to the project page. Let us know what you think.
