Default DriverzInc Sponsored Car Awarded MMOTY Finalist in DelMar!

We would like to send a big CONGRATULATIONS out to Johnny Teunissen and his killer 67 Pontiac Tempest for winning the "Muscle Machine of the Year- Finalist" Award in Del Mar this past weekend, which is picked by Detroit Speed.

Johnny is running a full Air Ride Technologies suspension system, from DriverzInc.com, with upper and lower control arms, spindles, shockwaves, rear arms, varishocks, and sway bars. Front wheels are Rushforth 19x8 Strutters, rears are 20x10s, powder coated matte black, and spec'd by DriverzInc. The tires were sponsored by DriverzInc and are the new NT05, 245/35/19 fronts, and 275/35/20 rears.

Johnny had a blast running his car around the course, which made all the hard work, and dollars spent worth every penny for everyone involved. He said the tires "stuck" like he couldn't believe. That's all the review I need on the NT05 as I believed it before he ran them. The Shutt steering wheel was a necessity over his old billet half wrap he said, and now that he has the itch, you can believe some big Baer brakes, and a few more upgrades are on deck.

Thank you to Marry Pozzi for her advice, I know Johnny appreciated every bit of it, and also thank you Bret from AirRide for your advice.

We could not be happier for Johnny, and are looking forward to finishing a few more upgrades for him before his next AutoX!

Some of our "Motley Crue" from L to R, Jon, Johnny, Adrian, Les

Congrats, well deserved. Enjoyed talking with you Jon, your other project was pretty cool too!

Are those the same rims that were on the car last year just black centers or new wheels alltogether? The black really made a difference.

Thanks man, yes, those are the same wheels. We re-rimmed them to tuck the fronts further in with Johnny's AirRide, and powder coated them matte black.
