Hello everybody, Ive been coming here alot but have never signed up but now I am getting a lot of questions about things I am doing to my car and I have found alot of useful info on here already. Figured I can get some answers here. I have a 69 camaro that I have owned about 5 years and have been working on it during the winters and driving during the summer. I live in a area where most of the people are not into the g-machine concept so this is my best link to it. Look forward to talking to all of you. Here are a list of some things that I have done and things I want to do.
Things already done.
400 small block
Th350
DSE: Headlights, Hood Hinges, Wiper Motor
Marquez Design taillights and running lights
Foose five spokes with BFG KDW's
Bear disc brakes, track 4 system on the front and track system on back.
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars and Hotchkis max brace bar in back.
Getting ready to put DSE upper and lower control arms with QA1 coilovers
DSE steering box, brake booster and battery relocation kit.
Future plans include mini tub and LS3 and hide away headlight kit.

Thanks it's a work in progress but I enjoy it. Can not wait to try out the new a-arms and steering box from DSE.

Default Welcome!!

Great to have you here!! Do you have a theme for your car? Or a Build name? Doing a little at a time is a good way to get into ProTouring and still use the car. You will really feel the difference with the swapped out front suspension.

Are you doing the work yourself?
Doin' it yourself is quite a sense of accomplishment.

No real theme for the car and I have been trying to think of a name for it for a long a while but nothing comes to mind. I'm sure I love the suspension work, I have already done a little with hotchkis sway bars lowering leaf springs. As far as the work is concerned I do everything I can. I enjoy working and swapping stuff out on it as much as I do driving it. My dad helps alot since he is the one who has taught me about cars. Plus I really enjoy doing the work with him, it is a great way of spending time with him. Plus it stays at his garage since i dont have one built yet after moving. Your son will really enjoy building your car together.

6Camaro9,
Welcome to the board! This is a wonderful place to get tech advice and share your project with people who will appreciate it. That’s a great looking ’69. Nice color combo.
Thanks for including Hotchkis parts in your Camaro build.
