Default Got my engine back finally

I had a piston oil groove issue. The oil ring groove on the piston was too narrow according to Weisco who custom made them. They made me a new set, switched to a Comp solid roller and got it back in. No more oil fouling the plugs and a batman smoke screen . Engine runs excellent. Made 440 hp@ 5400, 475@6400 and 442@7400. Made great torque for a 355 ci - 458 lbs @4300.

Payton,

I plan on doing that in the near future. I need to get back up with Kyle and see about him installing my vintage air, so that would be a good time to check out your progress also.

Yes they did Scott. I sent the pistons to them and they acknowledged it was too narrow by just a few thousands, which thats all it takes sometimes. It took about a month for them to check them and make me new ones.

I would have liked a little faster turn around, but I was very pleased they actually admitted it was their mistake and resolved my issue. Because of their customer service, I would buy again from them, because we all make mistakes.

Great News Jay, another vote here for getting that thing on the road. BTW the DSE closeout and hinges look great!
