Hydraulic Clutch

So I have a T56 6 Speed in my Camaro with a LS3

The clutch is pretty stiff and when you let it out ig really doesn't give you any feathering. It just kinda grabs. Is that fairly common with this type of throw out bearing?

Seems like the throw is pretty short. Tilton Master with T56 TO Bearing
