As spring is here, I thought I'd throw up an update on my winter's mods.
Thanks to the violent exit of the driveshaft at the dragstrip last fall, I have a new 8.5" posi rear, alluminum driveshaft, and slide-a-link traction bars.
Thanks to an out of control camber situation that trashed the inside edge of my Eagle F1's, I got G/W lower arms & SC&C adjustable uppers and some hotchkiss springs.
Wile I was detailing underneath, I found some rust, which led to buying and learning to use a welder, replacing one side of the floor, and welding on a set of Hotchkiss SFC's. While the exhaust system was off, I cleaned it and painted it, and lost the flow 40's for a set of Borlas (they sound soooo sweet!)
And... I can finally stop, thanks to a full set of Wilwood disk brakes!
Very clean car! Love the house too!! Your car is a perfect reminder of what protouring is all about, updated American iron! Have fun with it this summer!!
the thing that caught my eye Jim, is how neatly organized and detailed the car is. It doesn't cost much if any more to do this, and yet really makes a car stand out. Many people miss that when they put a car together.
