Here at Lateral-G, we are all about cars that can go fast, but can also be driven. The ultimate test of your car’s drivability is the Hot Rod Power Tour – a 1,500-mile trip in 7 days with thousands of hot rods and muscle cars tearing through the United States in a unit.
If you can make the Long Haul as they call it, you should be fairly proud of yourself. This year, we will be bringing you recaps of each day to entice you to start saving your pennies to attend next year’s event.
The first day is the registration day where all of the long haulers get their registration done and locals as well. The first day of the tour is pretty much a giant car show all day long. The variety of vehicles on the tour is endless – you can see anything from an International Travelall to the Hellfire Camaro built by Mark Stielow. The Power Tour is an awesome place to see a good variety of cars and is a must on the bucketlist of any gearhead.
Check back tomorrow for pictures of the first leg of tour, but for now, enjoy the gallery below!
