Knoxville, TN – Clayton Machine Works’ gated shifter for automatic transmissions allows for virtually any shifter lever and knob combination. The gated, side detent feature eliminates the need for a shifter button, making gear selection as easy as a flick of the wrist. Each shifter also features a neutral safety switch.

The shifters are available as complete assemblies (with lever and knob) or can be purchased separately to work with aftermarket levers that have 7/8” bolt spacing mounting scheme such as Tremec style shifter levers.

The floor mount gated shifters can be case-mounted or converted to cable operation with optional conversion kits and are available for most common GM, Ford and Chrysler transmissions. All mounting hardware is included for simple installation, proudly made in the USA, and comes with a lifetime warranty.
