My Lincoln MIG is a SP100, I had to think on this one ..... I bought this welder back in '96/'97 and have used the heck out of it, sometimes I wished I'd bought a welder in the 180/200 amp range. The 100 amp is rated for up to 12 ga with CO2/Argon mix you could go thicker with multiple passes, but for the auto body stuff it does just fine
